Pet Visits to Year R

We started our new topic of ‘Amazing Animals’ by spending a week focusing on pets. The children made a pictogram to find out who has a pet and which is most popular.

We have been lucky enough to have some special pet visitors to our classes this week! The children enjoyed asking lots of fantastic questions and finding out about each different animal and how to care for them.

Jack asked, “Where is the budgie’s nose?”

Theo asked, “How do budgies go to sleep?”

Bailey asked, “What do rabbits eat?”

Ted asked, “Why are rabbits so fluffy?”

What a super fun week we have had!

Next week, the children will be learning about animals that live in the rain forest!
