JOB/PERSON SUMMARY

We are looking to appoint a motivated and reliable cleaner to join our existing cleaning team as soon as possible.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To ensure that designated areas of the school premises are kept in a clean, hygienic condition and safe for all staff, pupils and visitors to the school

The role will include (but not be limited to) the following duties:

  • Wiping down surfaces
  • Vacuuming carpeted areas
  • Dusting surfaces
  • Sweeping hard surfaces
  • Emptying bins
  • Cleaning toilets & wash basins
  • Mopping floor areas
  • Cleaning windows
  • Scrubbing non-slip floors
  • Carry out any reasonable duties as instructed by Headteacher or Site Manager

You will be required to participate in any meetings, training and other activities that will help you contribute to the day-to-day running of the school.
